Ombox は その他のページ (Other) メッセージボックス用メタテンプレートです。

このメッセージボックスは、各種の名前空間（利用者、Wikipedia、MediaWiki、Template、Help、Portal や将来登場するであろう名前空間）のページ、つまり、{{tl|ambox}}、{{tl|tmbox}}、{{tl|imbox}}、{{tl|cmbox}}によってカバーされていないページで使用するものです。したがって、これは記事やノートページ、カテゴリページで使うべきではありません。

このテンプレートはおおよそ {{tl|ambox}} と同様に動作します。
